About YouthAthletePerformance.com

YouthAthletePerformance.com was built by NASM-certified trainers, long-term athlete development (LTAD) specialists, and former collegiate athletes who are now parents living the youth sports journey right alongside you. Our team brings hundreds of years of combined coaching experience across baseball, basketball, soccer, football, track, and strength and conditioning. We’ve coached travel ball, run speed camps, trained D1 recruits, and sat in the same bleachers stressing over tryouts. We built this site because we kept seeing the same bad advice recycled online — and our kids deserve better.

We dig into the research so you don’t have to. Whether it’s the latest on age-appropriate strength training, periodization for growing bodies, multi-sport development, or how to spot a good coach versus a loud one, we break it down in plain language backed by sports science. No scare tactics, no hype. Just evidence-based guidance from people who actually train young athletes every day. We believe the best youth sports experience develops the whole kid — physically, mentally, and as a person — not just the stat line.

We’re always adding new guides, updating research, and covering the topics parents actually ask about at practice. If you find something helpful, share it with another parent at the field. That’s how we grow — one good answer at a time.
